I really don't understand why we are living in such a mindset that if it's not down to your waist, you have failed in your hair growth! Or T'HE BIG CHOP' why such extremities! Why is the in between NOT enough!
Since using the GreenBeauty oil, plus my own products too, my hair has, which was completely bald (I had Traction Alopecia) My hair has, within a matter of months, grown tremendously 3-4" and is still growing rapidly! My aim was to just have hair, but what I didn't expect, was that my hair would grow that fast! I really don't want hair down to my ass! Why! I have NO IDEA HOW TO LOOK AFTER HAIR THAT LONG AND THE IDEA OF MAINTAINING HAIR THAT LONG REALLY OVERWHELMES ME!
No one seems to realise HOW MUCH WORK GOES INTO MAINTAINING SUCH LONG LENGTH HAIR! 😲 IT IS HARD WORK AND REQUIRES SO MUCH MORE TIME! 😩 EVEN POSSIBLY MORE EXPENSIVE 🤑 💰, AS YOU HAVE TO USE MORE PRODUCT!

My natural hair journey has been so much better when I started to prioritize care to my hair instead of its length or how it looks. My hair is so thick down to the ends and I have no issues cutting my split ends when I need to 🙌

Sis, the only way one style “takes away the greatness” of any other style is if YOU believe that to be true. This softly veiled insecurity is not the care or concern of others. Some women love long hair, are blessed with long hair, and grow long hair. Other women can grow long hair but prefer short hair. Still others rock whatever length they feeling and don’t give a darn what anyone says or feels. I spent my childhood to young womanhood with long hair. Marriage and babies and l rocked pixies and short styles because they were easy and less time consuming. Kids are grown and l’m retired and guess what? I’m now growing my hair long like l started out with. My goal? To be a long-haired grandmother like the beautiful Black model Ann Johnson with waist length gray hair (l believe that’s her name!) peace, love & light, sis ❤❤❤

I disagree. All hair looks beautiful when long but it needs to be healthy and in good proportions.
I had long hair but the longer i kept it the more uneven it got. I got 2 types of textures as well and the tighter curls are more down to my neck and the loose waves are on top of my head. For some reason the tight curls barely grow but the loose hair grows really well so I had a gap of like 20 cm in between the pieces, especially after postpartum hairloss and the sloppy unkept, dry mom bun I used to keep, and all the stress I experienced.
I had to cut my hair into a bob 😅

Haha I feel like I've been seeing signs all over YT encouraging me to go ahead and cut my hair like I've been wanting to.
It's been nearly a decade since I went natural and its been a long time since I've cared about length. Its way longer than it ever got while relaxed so I'm more than satisfied.
Now I'm stuck cause I feel like all this hair doesn't frame my face right. But a tapered cut.......🤷🏾
