Top job, mate. We had the battery light come on intermittently on the wife's polo . Dont own a multi metre. So nipped Halfords stuck a new battery on & it made no difference. I'm no mechanic, really, but I have a few tools & though hey it's only nuts & bolts so picked up a alternator & serpentine belt 3 hours it took me to switch out the old one . Worked a treat, so I took the new battery back to Halfords & put the old one back on. I'm just trying to save a few quid as always, lol. One 8mm bolt where it is attached to the heat shield was a pig. 😂
