That dusting and craining your neck over to see what's going on, is so on point in every ethnic culture.

Once I visited my dad in Philippines. I was chilling at his small town on the other side drinking a beer. He called me asking “what are you doing drinking a beer over there.” I was shook. I asked him how he knew I was there and what I was doing. He said “son, there’s news reporters all over this place. Faster than 5g” 😭🤣🤣🤣 them titas love their ch

I served with a few Phillipinos and they did stuff like this! It was hilarious; there would be a Chief yelling at his guys or something and they'd suddenly have a reason to be in that area, half-assing whatever they were "working on" while fully watching what was going on! 🤣

When I lived in Bah - Bah Agusan del Sur Mindanao Philippines, you will never hear this in the neighborhood. People are very respectful to each other. That's why I've been in US for 32 yrs and I never stop wishing that I could live there like forever.

Hahaha. I did this after years of living in Morocco too. Just slowly morphed into wearing djellaba and babouche daily, speaking Darija. Walking with my great-grandmother in law, my angel, mouima to the corner store daily. I miss her sooooo much she was my soul. ❤ She always treated me like I was family day one, so did all my husband’s family. I miss them all dearly since moving back to the states. Culture is meant to be shared, loved, and appreciated. I will retire in Morocco one day Inshallah. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Like me when I went back home. This is the breakdown of my 2 weeks: 2 days to enjoy the scenery and family reunion (eat, eat and more eat!), 4 days to adjust to the humidity and noise level, the rest: the family made me work. LOL.
