Big tips for anyone planning to do this as I do it myself: lift weights to better avoid injury in MMA, stretch prior for ten mins, proper rest and dieting are essential to perform at peak and performing your best reduces chance of injuries because TECHNIQUE IS KEY!!

It's definitely no joke. I had a shoulder injury shortly after starting Muay Thai. It recovered after a couple of months. Crazy cardio by default doing 3-5 rounds a majority of the hour. It's easy to get injured. That's why it's so important to maintain proper techniques and pay close attention.

Thanks, Coach Greg. I’ve been watching for a very long time and I’m just happy that you have something dealing with Martial Arts.

Im a black belt in teakwondo and i can really attest to this.

I had long term debilitating strains even as a pre-teen and teenager.

If you actually take your martial arts seriously, dont fear injuries, expect them. Its only a matter of time.

I did non-competitive taekwondo for multiple years and it was a great mental check for my self discipline. Burned calories, enjoyed it. Good option for anyone to try

I've started boxing and the cardio requirement is insane. Luckily I have a hockey and power skating background.
