Crimping rings by hand? How do you get home, on a dinosaur?

Use copper nails, drywall screws will rust in contact with copper.

I made the mistake of putting the stub out too low on my first bath remodel. You always gotta be thinking about every future step along the way.

It was sturdy…would you overkill it and add a sister stud going horizontally? Of course cut out a half inch hole to consider the stub out.

The only reason plumbers like it is because it takes NO SKILL to install and it's CHEAP

To bad you haven't learned not to use drywall screws to fasten it with, they will cause the drywall to break makeing everyone behind you shaking their heads

Add a 1/2” copper 2 hole strap on the rise of the copper and it’ll be 10 times more solid and you can level it. 👌

You never want it low because of the floor plus baseboard specifically if it high

I have a 70 year old house and we had all the supply lines replaced with PEX a few years back; wish they had used copper for the stub outs. So much nicer.

Yes.

8" x 8" for wide base and skirted toilets

Except if you wanna use a copper sweat connector or anything that you have to solder it will be too much heat for that fitting and it will compromise and possibly and probably leak

Did you maintain your cross sectional for your venting?

Why do you want to see so much of the stop and supply line putting it 8 inches to the left of the toilet i usually go around 5 and a half inches
