The Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, has some very cool weapons to try. Here is one that I think you might like: The Putrescent Cleaver. Putrescent Cleaver is a considered a great axe. So it does big hitting attacks that do big poise damage. It reminds me a mezzaluna chef knife which is pretty badass. This weapon scales with strength, dexterity, and arcane. Kind of strange because I am pretty sure frost build up scales with intelligence. My favorite thing about this weapon is the ash of war. It is very fun to use while stacking as much poise as possible to ensure that you don't get interrupted. Be sure to check this weapon out!

Oh and the rond shape of this weapon have an entire hitbox.
If you hit an ennemy with a normal attack and someone is behind you, he too will take damage. I've notice that quite a lot.
