Thats actually a VERY great deal and no wonder most of them agreed to it. Think of it this way, a movie can cost $1M to make, and to get billboards, ADs, etc, can cost $250k-500k. Getting national exposure on that level would easily be at least 50k worth even for the singular night. Very worth it and to have fun while doing it lol

I don't know some guest hosts I wonder about as they didn't really have anything to advertise. Florence Henderson, Buzz Aldrin, Snooki was there to set up for mania match and a few others especially near the end didn't promote anything. Also wonder about celebrity hosts that actually wrestled or took bumps. I remember Jeremy Piven said they wanted him to side with Cena but he pushed for him to side with Orton and take an AA.
