This was a CARavan (Classic Car Club of America Automobile Tour) from 1957.
It started in West Nyack, New York and ended in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
A lot of footage of great Classic Cars and people.
If anyone can give me further information on the names or places I would be grateful.

Thanks for posting this lovely paean to lighthearted adults enjoying genuine Classic cars.
Bittersweet, as all the cars survive, but only some of the people. The Rimsky-Korsakov accompaniment couldn't have been finer. How wonderful it must've been to enjoy such fine cars, many of them well-preserved without their charm erased by needless, trophy-chasing restoration, when the man on the street was more apt to ask a question about the cars themselves than "What's sumpin' like that worth?"

Marvellous vid. great to see classics driven the way they were supposed to.....not a trailer in sight. Can you imagine leaving that lot in a motel car park these days? Also excellent choice of music.

Carol and I now own the 1937 Packard 1508 Town Car in the film which was driven by the camera operator's wife. In 1957 the leather top was white, but is now the correct black. To my knowledge we own the only remaining 1508 Town Car. There are a couple 1507 Cabriolets on the shorter 139 inch wheelbase. I notice that the front bumper guard must have been from a 120 as it has three bars instead of two and the uprights look the same as on a 120. A DVD of the movie came with the car when I made the purchase. We are the ninth owners and I have a record of the previous eight owners. The Packard was sold new in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania and purchased by a lady, Celia Carnil. We consider ourselves caretakers and hope the tenth owner(s) will enjoy and preserve the Classic as we have. Larry Pumphrey
