I think becoming a better version of your self is more important. The sense of competition is different from jealousy or envy, I think jealousy reflects on your insecurities and envy reflects on the lack of determination on your goals. Is unhealthy competition when it is driven by those emotions.
But when you understand that the true competition is with yourself, to become better every day. All that toxicity and negativity goes away. Comparing is a good way to define your goals, but don't forget what is easy for you, it can be difficult for someone else, and what's difficult for you can be easy for others.
Keep fighting the real fight, the one that it helps when all this is over we can look at our creator ( not religious but spiritual ) in the eyes.

You’re experiencing a case of healthy envy—the positive side of wanting what others have! Healthy envy encourages admiration rather than bitterness. Instead of focusing on why you don’t have what others do, it can make you appreciate others’ achievements or qualities, encouraging you to set goals to achieve similar success. Instead of a desire to "outdo" someone else, healthy envy directs you toward personal fulfillment. It recognizes others’ successes without needing them to lose for you to "win."

Hi Sweetie, and Jealousy is a tricky emotion when not kept in check. The thing is, do you let it control you or someone else. After all jealousy was the main reason Lucifer fell due to him wanting to be GOD and for putting humanity above the Angels. But as you said you got to know what's an- Healthty amount for you. Later, Ms. Sunshine ✌️❤️👍

Yes I agree, envy can be a healthy emotion. As long as you is it as a positive driving force to make yourself or your situation better. Lorelei, you have the right attitude.
