You definitely donât want to straighten them straight up. Do the same motion where you pull them straight up and then when you get closer to the end youâll want to twist the iron up and back so you are curling the ends under towards the back of your head. Thatâs how you get the volume. You might have a harder time with that really skinny flat iron but you should still be able to get something similar.

Go out from the forehead at like a 45 degree angle and swoop the flat iron foward/up/and then back like youâre making a C shape. I then set the hot hair in a Velcro roller for a few minutes to really get the shape. I actually do this around my entire head to get the laziest, fastest âblowoutâ ever :)

Try more of a swooping motion! Notice how he rotates the iron as he moves up the hair, as if trying to curl it
