Some people use a strong sensory experience to achieve that state. After they get into a state of high confidence, often after achieving some kind of goal, they use things like strong smelling objects to associate that smell with the feeling of confidence so that next time they have to take on something big or something that makes them anxious, they smell that thing again and it brings them into that state of confidence. Sounds weird and I'm not sure if it really works as I haven't tried it, but thought it might be helpful for some people.
