I was working in the hospital system and completely burnt out. I decided to quit and walk away and I took a job as a PRN social worker for hospice so I could build my private practice and work less.

SO MANY PEOPLE (especially other therapists and social workers) told me that my business would fail, that I would end up going back into the hospital system or working for a large company, that I wouldn't be able to get it off the ground because it was too difficult to sustain.

Little did they know, but I grew up with a parent who constantly reinforced and raised me with a 'watch this' mentality.

I am so glad I didn't listen to all those people who told me I couldn't do it.

I now have a thriving completely virtual group therapy practice @highergroundwellness AND a coaching business that I cherish and strive in every single day.

I get to spend my time the way I want to.
I get to support and help individuals around the globe.
I get to support therapists who serve and provide therapy to others.
I get to work from home doing what I love.

Whatever it is that YOU want, do not let anyone tell you that it is not possible.
Prove them wrong.
Use their limiting beliefs as fuel for you to challenge the idea and do something completely different.
