I camped there about 10 years ago. Might go back later this summer. I know a great spot along the shore.

We have a hunting camp on "Bob-lo" Island. Went to school in Cheboygan. Grew up in Mackinaw City. But yes...if you're looking to truly get away from people and experience some beautiful nature quickly, it's hard to beat. The fishing on the inland lakes is great too.

Are the birch trees in good shape there? Between drought and bugs, northern Minnesota is losing a lot of its beautiful birches.... π«€βοΈ
