The Om Mani Padme Hum chant is an ancient Tibetan chant, which means 'My Heart is Opening Like the Jewel in a Lotus Flower'.

A paper published in the International Journal of Science and Research from 2016 investigated the specific hertz of each of the 6 syllables. The paper found that chanting this mantra activates particular frequencies associated with each syllable, resonating at levels known to induce positive physical and biological changes.
