Veg Masala Toast 🥪🧀

Ingredients (for stuffing):
• 1 boiled potato (mashed)
• 1 small carrot (grated)
• 2 tbsp capsicum (finely chopped)
• 2 tbsp onion (finely chopped)
• 2 tbsp sweet corn (boiled)
• 1 tbsp coriander leaves (chopped)
• ¼ tsp black pepper
• ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
• ¼ tsp garam masala
• ¼ tsp chaat masala
• ¼ tsp aamchur powder
• ¼ tsp oregano
• ¼ tsp chilli flakes OR red chilli powder (to taste)
• ¼ tsp kasuri methi (optional, crushed)
Other:
• Bread slices
• Butter (for toasting)
🔪 Method:
1. Prepare stuffing:
• In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potato, carrot, capsicum, onion, sweet corn, and coriander leaves.
• Add black pepper, salt, garam masala, chaat masala, aamchur, oregano, chilli flakes/red chilli, and kasuri methi.
• Mix everything well to form a uniform mixture.
2. Assemble toast:
• Take bread slices.
• Spread a generous layer of the prepared stuffing on one side of each slice.
• Apply butter on the outer sides of the bread (for crispness).
3. Toast:
• Place the stuffed bread in a toaster, grill, or tawa until golden brown and crisp.
4. Serve hot:
• Cut into halves or triangles.
• Best served with green chutney or ketchup.
