I saw a gorgeous 5 bedroom, 3 storey maisonette up on auction in Wood Green recently. It would have made such a cool home. Shame that 1) it would definitely go for at least £750,000 and 2) it's probably going to go to a developer who will either make it into a sad beige HMO or divide it up into flats. Fantastic original layout and really large rooms.

That is crazy. I have just sold my lovely London home (just at the agreed stage now) for £388,500. It is a large (67 square metres) 1 bedroom ex local authority flat in a quiet part of Southwark. I did sell it for £17k more 3 months shy of two years ago but that chain fell through, so the market is definitely declining. The places in this video are right uninhabitable 'black mould' dumps, urgh.

My first house in London cost me £28k. It was individual rooms all let out beforehand. We changed it into 3 flats. The house would now be worth over £1m.

I mean, going off the decor, some of the waste items in the rear garden and honestly the general state if the properties, Id say its a goid guess the kind of people that abused the houses.

As a student in the 70's I rented a Victorian terrace house in Willesden and when I finished college the council offered it to me for 6000 pounds with financing! I said 'god no who wants to live here'. Today that house is worth 2.5 million.
