Wow this reminds me of when my mom and her old best friend orchestrated a phone call between me and her best friend's daughter, we did not know each other whatsoever and we were like around 12 years old or something and lived in different states (me in CA and her in CO), our only connection was just that we had hung out together as literal BABIES when our moms had hung out together, granted she was nice but the whole time I was just thinking "I don't know who you are at all this is so awkward" lol, we were asking each other questions like we were on a date trying to get to know each other LMAO and then we never really talked again 💀💀
