Never, never, never call someone cold and ask is this so-and-so without identifying yourself first. This is an unprofessional phone call from the collars point of view. The collar needs to when Veronica says hello say this is Susie from ABC Company am I speaking with Veronica? When she says yes, then you can say we would like to offer you the job. You never ever ask is this Veronica before identifying who you are. You could be a scam marketer, who is recording the word yes to make purchases in their name as you steal their identity. This happens every day. Do not be unprofessional when making these calls.
