I think the problem is not that zone os is not healthy, it's all the other os' that hurt the game, since there's more defensive options to an attack compared to offense, like in one of Freeze's videos. It's even made worse when characters have options in their kit as well, like most characters with dodge attack moves/bashes. I just hope the devs and us as players can come to what we actually want, because it's been going on for far too long

Edit: further defining/explaining option selects to hopefully avoid confusion as many of you still have questions: Option selects are inputs (command, so light attack, heavy attack, zone attack, etc.) or a series of inputs (multiple commands, so dodge bash, dodge attack, etc.) that, in special circumstances force the game to select what option is best to deal with the current situation based on what buttons you pressed. For example, normally you parry by matching the direction of an attack and inputting a heavy as the indicator flashes. However, if the enemy feints, you still throw a heavy as the game intends. If you input a zone attack on the parry timing while blocking in the direction of an attack, you will also parry. This is because the zone attack input is a light and a heavy. However, if they feint, the game recognizes your zone input and will throw out your zone, thus making it a zone option select - the game selects the option for you (parry or zone). The benefit (from the defender) of doing a zone option select is you either parry, or throw a zone which will beat a feint to GB and hopefully start your offence. However, attackers can feint their attack and counter the zone if they expect it. This is just one of a few different option selects and isn’t the only one - zone attacks themselves aren’t an option select, performing a zone while matching the direction of an attack and throwing it on the parry timing is an option select. In the testing grounds, the devs have removed the ability to option select - not the ability to zone or to feint, but to use a zone input to parry. I should mention 2 things: yes, Option Selects seem like they’ll be removed given the devs stance in the latest Testing Grounds and removing all OS’s - but for the meantime they are still in the live game. Secondly, my comparison of OS to using two hands in Rock Paper Scissors was not a metaphor for cheating, just a silly way to show how one move can counter different options in different circumstances.
