What options do you have if your employer doesn't provide HRA but you live with Parents/Relatives?

- Certainly, you can claim Section 80GG benefits here, when you are living with your parents or the property is in your parent’s name, provided you're paying rent for this.
- Also, ensure you have a rental agreement with your parents.

The lowest amount from these 3 rules will be considered as a deduction under this section-

1. Rs.5,000 per month or 60,000 per year
2. 25% of the adjusted total income
And
3. Actual rent minus 10% of adjusted total income.
