Moose started speaking at around 8 months, ball, dog, hi, daddy, mama. Around 15 months it started to disappear and I remember the very last time he said daddy.
We were driving home from our camping spot for a week and he kept saying "dah-yeee, dah-yee!" Over and over again in the back seat. I didn't know that would be the last time I would hear him say his dad's name. After that he began to loose most of his speech. It has taken a lot of work to help him regain it back, and he still struggles. But we have noticed in the last few weeks that he is beginning to echo us a lot and sometimes he will just say a random word out loud that he has never said before. I am slowly becoming more and more confident that he will one day have full speech, but we still have along way to go. I am just so grateful for this one very special word! ❤️
