If they Grounded 2 does happen, they need to have a apart of the map take place at the gas station seen outside of the yard, maybe cockroaches, cellar spiders, brown recluses and the return of the earwigsand silverfishes, as a gas station does tend to have a trash deposit at the side or back of the building it would make sense to have scavenger Insects and Arachnids such as the mentioned to be at a place like that
A side note would be casual green mantises, they could be in a similar category as the black ox or wolfspider and considered as a tough opponent which would give access to the next tier of tools, like a green mantis axe(not the blossom scythe) , and for the hammer I'm thinking maybe a harder shelled bug such as rolypoly variant or a herculus beetle (a tougher version of the black ox), and to get abit more creative how about a chainsaw weapon which is made from orc receivers

Well a cool insect they could add as a boss could be a scorpion. Another could be a hornet. Something that’s big and packs a punch would be good in my opinion.
Edit: there also could be a chance for a caterpillar like an assassin catapillar

Waterbugs: ski around the pond at high speeds, give the pond locators a second life as race beacons
Rollypolys: saddle them up to ride through the grass. Trample weeds down, bust rocks, help you fight big bugs
Bees: find one sleeping, slap a saddle on him- BOOM - flying mount.
Make the saddle an item required to ride bugs. Give it a health bar, an upgrade tree-

Having learned about predatory snails, I think they could be a funny enemy in Grounded 2. Maybe also a cockroach that gives super sturdy armor.

If Obsidian creates another grounded, my theory is that the devs will make the protagonists a little bigger, which gives them a whole new ball park of creativity and what kind of creatures you can face, like frogs, big centipedes, and even small birds.

Their is a bug I just discovered online that be perfect for Grounded II, "A Dosbon Fly," that looks more creeper than any of Spiders on Grounded I combined! It has Pinchers, it files, looks disgusting, and to top lot up, it in real life it bigger than own ankle, which means he can be a brand new boss to face! 😋

Tameable and RIDABLE insects would be sick!
You can fly on bees or wasps.
You can ride on ants
Can glide across water with a waterboatman to surf on , or maybe . You can use the gnats plan leash and ski across the lake as they fly forward
You can use the Roly poly like a boulder

A baby caterpillar you could tame and then watch it grow up until it eventually cocoons and becomes a butterfly which then you could use to fly around the yard like a private plane.
