Remove the mites on any queens you can access with tweezers and give your ants some freshly squeezed lemon or lime juice on a swab or in a shallow dish. They might kill the mites with the juice. If not they might just pick them off themselves and keep the numbers down

The best treatment I know is what is called in Europe Taurrus. Itās alive mites that eat blood sucking mitesā¦ you just have to pour them in your tank and let them actā¦ and your ants donāt risk anything from them. Taurrus is used for reptiles as well, when they have some mites

The only idea i have is to evacuate as much of the colony as possible, including the queen. Try to separate as many infected ants as possible. As long as the quern escapes, the colony can eventually recover. It's like they said in ANTZ, "It doesn't matter if one ant dies, what matters most is if the colony dies."

I would look into anti mite treatments used by beekeepers. Ants and bees are both in the wasp family. Verroa mite treatments also kill tracheal mites

You should watch your older video where you got the mites before to help solve your problem

Iād myself as an ant farmerā¦ would use a handheld microscope to examine the colony to see exactly how much of the colony is infected and how many mites there are. And while what Iām gonna say next is sad youāre gonna have to do it for the sake of the colony. Youāll have to take the infected and put them down and then take as many as you can that arenāt infected and move them and the queen to a new home. Iāve had to do this sadly. And thatās why I always get my feeding bugs from feeding companies and check them before feeding them to my ants.

I'm dumb in a special way for having the first thought in my mind to solving the parasite problem with pesticide forgetting that the ants would die too.
