Very cool. Kurt did nasty as well as any player ever. In anyone elseās hands those tones could have been awful. But he turned them into art, and it obviously didnāt take anything fancy. The Small Chorus is a sweet pedal, though!

He used a DS1 most of the time as the primary distortion. Its on almost every song from every record.

He did use the DS-2 on the road a few times iirc... but in the studio on tracks like In Bloom it was a blended Rat with a DS-1. The Rat had the midranged pushed in the EQ on the desk too.
