I’ve had my number that I got with my phone about 5-6 years ago & to this day I still get calls for Karen Jones that lives in South Australia, I live in Queensland on the other side of Australia 🇦🇺. Last week I got texted messages from Uber & 1 saying they were out front so I blocked the number. I’m sick of telling people it’s not her number. Thank you for sharing ❤❤

I've had the same number for 3 years and people keep asking for Dave. This went too far when I was added to a group chat for a Dead family member!!! The family didn't remove me from the chat!!!!!!

Reminds me of my own story. Current phone number belonged to someone named Saraj. She never changed her number on stuff, so I kept getting messages from job applications, her church, even her mom. My revenge was acting as unprofessional as I could. I replied to the job applications that I was too high and I'd text them later, or that they should sign up for "my" OF, texted the church that their practices were stupid and so were they, texted her mom that I never wanted to speak to her again over a petty thing I made up, and at first I felt bad because what if this kid was a runaway and she genuinely didn't deserve this? That all went away when she spam texted me from a number in Cuba that everyone thinks she's a jerk and "how could I do this to her on her vacation?" I confirmed, she was not abused, she just didn't want to take 10 minutes to tell people she got a new phone number and update her LinkedIn. Screw you Saraj.

Years ago when I got my current number, I kept getting calls for the previous owner, Darius. This continued for an annoyingly long time until finally Darius’ MOM called and I was like, “when you do get ahold of your son can you please tell him to give his contacts his new number?!” She was a good sport about it (I KNOW at first she was like, “why is some white lady answering my son’s phone?”) and after not too much longer, the calls did stop.

Oh this happened to me. Erica used to have my number and i kept getting calls and texts from doctors. Eventually her mom called, and seriously wouldn't believe that i wasn't Erica. I kept trying to explain that I'd recently changed my number. She kept calling me Erica and saying my behavior was unacceptable. That of course she could tell i was Erica. It freaked me out a lot. She wouldn't believe me.
Later i did some digging. Erica was in prison.

My friend had this happen. He owned a number thst belonged to a lady who died and a Healthcare place or something like that kept calling him. Finally he answered the phone and yelled "SHE'S DEAD" and hung up 😭

I am a female girl and when I was with my friends I made a fake burn book and me and one of my friends were arguing at the time so one friend suggested I put her in there so I did and I meant to rip it out after but I forgot me and my friend end up getting back together and I accidentally showed her the burn book and she immediately left the call when she asked my why I told her I was sorry and wrote a whole paragraph of why I was sorry but she said she didn’t believe me and was still mad abt the previous fight so she said that she was tired of me even though I apologized SO SO SO MUCH and I said if ur tired of me then I don’t want to be friends so now we aren’t friends anymore. Hope that makes sense

I answered my phone with "Cook County sheriff's department, do you need assistance?" Telemarketers/scammers not only hang up on me, but I'm pretty sure they flag my number as bad because I hardly get calls anymore 😂
