To enhance stealth, players can utilize items like Stealth Boys, which temporarily render the user invisible, and wear lightweight armor to minimize noise. The game also features a hidden detection meter, with states ranging from "Hidden" to "Caution" to "Danger," providing constant feedback on how close the player is to being spotted.

Aimee, however, has a knack for being absolutely terrible at stealth in the wasteland. Despite investing in the Sneak skill and hoarding Stealth Boys like they’re bottle caps, she always seems to blow her cover at the worst possible moments. Whether it’s accidentally firing off a loud weapon instead of drawing her trusty Varmint Rifle or stepping on a loose bottle cap mine in the middle of a sneaky approach, Aimee’s attempts at subtlety often result in a horde of Fiends or Deathclaws descending upon her. It’s almost like she’s the opposite of a Ghost, more of a Wasteland Clown, leaving a trail of chaos wherever she tries to tread quietly.

Even when Aimee tries to take advantage of *Fallout: New Vegas*’s more forgiving mechanics—such as the forgiving sneak attack criticals—her execution often backfires. She might forget to crouch while attempting a sneak attack on a Super Mutant or approach a Legion camp during the daytime, when enemies can easily spot her. Her loud, clunky Power Armor, which she refuses to take off, doesn’t help her stealthy aspirations either. With every failed stealth mission, she becomes more infamous in the Mojave, almost as if the Wasteland itself is mocking her attempts to be the next Joshua Graham in the art of stealth.
