Roy Harper’s tone and delivery is spot on. Just a bit of snide superiority to the whole thing. He was a bit distanced from the “ideal” as an unscrupulous agent would be. Roger and David sang the words while Roy Harper almost spoke them in an exaggerated, phony way as if he was trying to convince the band- as the lyrics describe. The original was definitely the right choice
