Fellas, these are not art "mistakes" these are preferences, and you shouldn't be discouraged from doing any of these if you actually like the way they look
IMO the title is slightly misleading because i see none of these art things as "mistakes" and just personal preference

I only use pure black or pure white where a character is supposed to be extremely important. For example, if I’m drawing a god-like character with white eyes, I’ll use pure white. But if I’m drawing a random girl with a white hat, I’ll use an off-white.

I do the same thing with messy lineart lol. I might clean up the sketch a little but most of the time it really is just the sketch layer

I use black for lineart, sometimes I do go and color the lineart after I'm done with everything else.
I use "airbrush" (my regular art program doesn't have an airbrush) to make gradients, sometimes I do to to make solid colors not so solid.
Also, is your throat ok? If it's dry, I suggest some milk. (/pas)
