It might be a tongue in cheek title but it's the highest point locally.
Dalton Park Shopping Complex was build on the brownfield site that was a former colliery waste tip. During the clearing and construction of the complex, developers chose to create a landscaped country park area which includes several paths and hills. It's perfect for walkers, joggers and mountain bikers wanting to train locally between 'proper walks, runs and cycling events'.
In this video I head to the top of one of the larger hills and take in the sea view looking toward Seaham.
