"how could you possibly believe that personality comes out of non-personality"
The same way wetness comes out of non-wetness and flight comes out of non-flight.
"simplicity comes out of nothing"
I don't know of a single atheist who believes in philosophical nothing so this is irrelevant.
"Romans 1"
Show reliable evidence of Romans 1:18 first

"...how could you possibly believe that personality comes out of non-personality..."
My brain generates my personality. We know this because if you affect my brain, it affects my personality. This is obvious with drugs, medications, alcohol, and disease. Yet my brain is composed of things with no personality. Thus all personality we know of does come from non-personality.
"...complexity comes out of simplicity..."
Play around with Langton's Ant. Langton's Ant is a simple simulator that leads to a complex outcome. In the original version it goes like this:
The ant starts on an infinite grid of white squares. From there, only two rules apply.
1) If the ant is on a white square, it rotates left, goes forward to the next square, and the square it was on changes from white to black.
2) If the ant is on a black square, it rotates right, goes forward to the next square, and the square it was on changes from black to white.
That's it. That's all. And yet everyone sees the same three stages that it goes through. The first stage is simplicity. It makes circles, bigger circles, an X shape. Simple stuff for simple rules. This lasts until around step 500. Then, suddenly, it's not like that anymore. Instead, what you see is chaos. No order, no pattern, nothing. This lasts until around step 10,500. Then, again, with no warning, you get a new behavior, and the ant makes a diagonal 'road' off into infinity, with each segment of the road taking 104 steps to complete. Complexity (a 104-step process) from simplicity (2 rules), and it's not at all obvious that this would be the case from understanding the rules or from watchin the first 1000 steps. Indeed, we can't even prove it'll happen in all circumstances. What if some of the initial squares were black instead of white? Would that change the outcome? We've tried billions of permutations so far, and so far the answer is 'not really' (it changes the direction of the eventual road), but maybe there's some special arrangement of 148,123,908,457 initial black dots that generates some different behavior. We have no way of knowing.
"...and simplicity comes out of nothing..."
No one believes this. This is a straw man.
Have a nice day!
