In college, studying to be a dietitian, my professor had us wear these to get a firsthand experience of our future patients. We had to read a recipe and cook in our food lab. Some students were also in wheelchairs to practice cooking, and others had one hand tied behind our backs. I will never forget the lesson she taught us that day...even after 22 years of being a dietitian. Thank you for showing it to others.

Optometry is good for ASMR, and you learn a lot through the videos. The first baseline an optometrist is going to test for blindness is if they notice if they are in a dark room or a light room

My left eyes is partly blurry and has parithial vision issues I have to have glasses to drive and read things especially In smaller print street name signs are the hardest for me

We just did this with a bunch of different simulation goggles and a scavenger hunt for my OTA class! It was really interesting to experience what others go through.

So I have rhetnal nerve damage from encephalitis, I have sparklers, blurry spots in both eyes etc. I was told there is nothing that can be done to correct it. With that being said it's nice to see someone on social media explaining things and showing the differenr forms of low/poor vision.
