One of the hardest parts of this mount isn't just locating it but the fact that its flight route is hardly over any place where you dismount and tag it safely without falling to your death. My ex-girlfriend farmed it for months, and i helped her, we saw it once and i tried to tag it fell to my death and a hunter with parachute swooped in and took it.

I got it in a week farming, roughly online 20 hrs a day, shit was rough but i have this beauty. Probably one of my most favorite mounts of all time

3 months of farming. rotating the rare spawns till vyragosa spawns, then being online 12 hours later when TLD spawns.

Stumbled on TLPD when WotLK was out about two months. Was mining on my lv 74 DK. Hit it with deathgrip and barely survied but got thw mount I couldn't use for a few levels. A friend spent 8 months trying and gave up.

Oh my gods, <laughs> I found this by sheer dumb chance!! I was flying around, on my hunter, I think looking for a rare spawn, just for giggles, and flew straight into the Time Lost’s mouth! Found myself fighting and dying to this thing! My boyfriend was nearby and flew to catch up to me and watch me die. He killed it and got the mount. We end up in a dungeon, frek, memory is flaky on this, where the blue proto drake mount drops, and it actually drops. My boyfriend is hollering at me to “need” it as he is “needing” it as well as the rest of the group. I win the mount and he is yelling and hollering congratulations at me and hugging me hard. He felt so bad for me for getting the Time Lost mount. He figured if he won the Blue Proto Drake mount he would be able to give it to me. (We weren’t grouped when I went into the Time Lost’s gullet.) (And yes, someone in that group was upset at me winning the Blue Proto Drake, and pestered me to give it to them. I was almost in tears, due to the fact the person got rude about it. Some people tend to want to sour games and fun things for others.)

I found virigosas body several times during wrath. I also went into a dungeon one time just to come out and have tlpd body below me. Very sad day lol

Took me around 1 year. I was on my last char for the day. I was about to land on my logout-spot (which is also a spawn point) and the moment I arrived, it spawned. The corpse was in a spot where I had no solid ground to loot it. With a heart rate I didnt even know I can achieve I pulled a harpy for the "AoE loot".

I got it during wotlk the same 1-2 weeks I got the green one and the white bear. I was like 10 at the time lol. My parents were jealous bc they were farming these mounts too. Fun times

I was so pissed It randomly spawned for me back in wrath when I was doing quests I tagged it and had it to half health then a hunter came and killed me over it. It was stolen from me and I was so upset. That’s what got me into pvp so I could survive if that ever happens again. Still haven’t seen it to this day

It's one of the easiest mounts to obtain just go to a dead server and wait watch a movie on ur other screen download an addon that tracks the timelost and within an hour too 22h you could get it. I got it in 6 hours waiting I've seen the timelost atleast 5times

I spent all year trying to track that mount down! After a server reset I swore I was the first to spawn & look for it. Found a horde player fighting it. Killed him out of spite, than killed the elite since it agro’d me but couldn’t lot it. The horde player messaged me enraged but if I couldn’t have it because of him, he couldn’t have it cause of me!!!

I had a Time lost macro. I just flew the route spamming my macro looking for it all night some nights. I never even saw it. Vyragoa? Several times...

I remember during early WoTLK me and my father seen it flying around and followed it for a few mins because we thought it was just another cool Rare Npc spawn.... we still mention to this day!
