The way i understand it... the Law is there, but humans will break those laws many times. We as humans were given the law to show that its almost impossible or even unfair to expect a flawed being like humans to folllwo them 100% perfectly. So jesus came to show that forgiveness and God himself is love and merciful and that we can repent. You cant just break the laws and think your a Christian, but if you are a christian you will just naturally follow the laws out of inner desire and love, and not like a frustrated child who doesnt want to actually follow the law. If you love jesus, following the law won't even be a challenge, infact you will not only keep the laws, but you will go above and beyond and make the world a better place.
