Minimizing the toys in our house changed our life. Few toys=little mess and honestly happier more content not overstimulated kids.

You should really think of how dangerous it would be to get into an accident with all that in your car. Flying objects. Yikes. I have 3 kids soon to be 4. Whatever they bring in the car exits with them. When we go get gas, we throw away garbage in the trash cans while the gas is pumping. Little steps make a big difference.

I had 3 kids. I let them eat in it too. If they ever had toys in it, they took them out the same day they brought them in it. If you take the trash out of your car everyday, it wont get so bad.

Heres an idea... why dont we teach kids how to respect things that aren't ours, like rentals.... in fact, let's teach kids how to respect cars in general. Before you jump on me about how young these kids are, hear me out. Teaching them young is where it starts!
Also, i worked with foster kids, transporting 13 kids all under 10 to school and back sometimes in the van for 3 hours at a time, and my 15 passenger van never got this bad. Teach kids to pick up after themselves, what they bring in the van they take back out, if they see trash take ownership and pick it up.

I rarely let my kids eat in the car because it would absolutely look like this within a week. I also have a seat protector underneath each car seat which really helps debris from falling into the seat crevices and makes cleaning easier in general.

guys, please don't let your kids do this, especially with rentals. it's absolutely disgusting, and everyone i know who does it ends up totally wrecking their car, and then wrecking all of their friends and families cars. and just so you know it's very possible to get bugs in your car

Tip for you…..Get one of those covers that you can buy for pets. They cover the entire seat and the floor. They are fairly cheap online. All you then need to do to tidy is take out the car seats and gather the corners of the cover together to contain everything that has been dropped , remove from car and sort from there. Helps stop spillages etc getting onto the actual seats.
