I agree very much! And the magazines cost so damn much from each gun manufacturer. Wish we could have a standard mag that fits 80% of pistols. The Glock mag seems to be the most used.

I agree with you however magazines are a big mark up item and make companies a lot of money compared to the gun. They are also a wear item so they can keep selling them

I imagine this is where the joke about HK comes from, that they're not so much a gun manufacturer as they are a magazine manufacturer that happens to make guns too.
