Great stuff as always. You inspired me to get my general. Got it about a week ago. Working on Extra now, while the material is still fresh in my head. Keep up the great work!

Could you do a video on the process of getting a business license from the FCC? I'm curious and there aren't much videos out on youtube that show the process. Keep up the great work and looking forward to seeing more on DMR radios!

Would be highly interested in seeing how the 878/ 578 combo achieves the aes256 over the 578

Would love to purchase purchase one or two of those manpack bags. Any hope of making purchases available on those?

Do you have any plans to try and incorporate your mototrbo radios for use with the single frequency repeat. If this is possible i could see the use for a deployable xpr radio cache that could be used in conjunction with the 578 for SAR and EMS. Compared to the 878,
Pros
- higher ip rating
- more secure accessory connection
- widely available and less cost

Cons
- encryption is difficult
- mono band

Thanks!

Great content, as always— any concern over battery integrity/durability without any shock padding or impact protection? Always appreciate your informed perspective.

What’s the best type of radio for making contact with talk groups up to 100 miles away as well as being able to be used as a police scanner?

What kind of shield case do you use for this one? Is it Anytone factory built or something else...

Is that a modified pack or something commercialy available to purchase as is? I think I remember you talking about having a pack made just for such manpack projects

How would you compare this to your Yaesu 9800 cross bander from the manpack series? How different are they aside from DMR are they to you?
