Mind that this is probably customized with Samsung's Good Lock. The default recent apps screen would show a message of "X applications are running in the background" instead of a button. Functionality is the same, of course.

If u go to developer settings there is an "running processes" setting and from there you can really stop manny apps even system processes and cache processes

My S23 ultra + doesn't have that button to pull up recent applications

Mine always shows Pandora and Tidal for the most part. I even turned off background activity for these apps and it still shows up. WHY?

We don't want to don't think about it as burning your battery so much as is how much CPU is being used combined with how bright is the screen.
I want to know what apps are making my phone too hot when I'm charging the phone.

I always have music on so i cant even remove it from background. But it does drain battery really
