This summary is %100 accurate. Field observations confirm.
It comes under the umbrella of profound emotional immaturity, which is the hallmark of NPD.
It is a permanent feature of the way they present to the world.
There is no cure.

Spot on. Love and decency are nowhere to be found in the power hungry narcisist and they are doomed to fail.

I find that they’re careful and gentle with those who have strong boundaries. They’re controlling and critical of those who don’t. My husband is a great passive aggressive but he wouldn’t dare try that on those who could tell him to F off.

It’s as if I’m doomed to have to deal with these people in my life. I’ve been unwittingly connected to them for almost all my life. I just didn’t know until I became educated about it.

Another short lil video with generous expertise. Thanks, Doc.

We, who work at surviving encounters with narcissists can relate to this list of their behaviors. Their internal chaos can destroy you if you get caught in their swirling, whirling cesspool. They will suck you down the drain with their lies, ugly anger; their lust for power. Break free. Dr. Carter and Team Healthy keep throwing us these life preservers! Catch it, ya all! And swim on to safe shores and peace.

Monitoring the narcissist through the lens of "power" is incredibly insightful and fitting. If "POWER" isn't the most beloved word in the narcissist's encyclopedia, it's certainly one of the main keywords of their world; just as "Control" is inherently located at the very center of the narcissist's identity and their perception of success and happiness —even if it just creates various disasters and ends with all kind of miseri

It's so sad and very infuriating. I'm glad to say I do believe I do know what it is to be loved. I just learned and realized way to late.

The one i knew would always tell me i want to be happy! I want peace “now i know why” they could never find it and won’t until they decide to change and self reflect.

Oh my goodness, this describes her perfectly! Relying only on the opinions of people who mindlessly agree with her (the only "majority" in her majority rules slogan, even when she's the only one), no foresight whatsoever, and never learns from her mistakes. It's always somebody else's fault that screaming at everyone doesn't calm anyone down.

No matter how many times she tries the same thing over and over again, it never works. Can't be her fault; after all, she's the most mature person on the planet. Her repeatedly doing something she should be learning from but isn't (a mistake her supposedly inferior enemy isn't making) would imply that the image of herself she's trying to project is false, and she just knows that can't be true.

This must be how Arkhamverse Batman must feel most of the times he has to deal with The Riddler. There's no learning curve with these people. It's incredibly difficult to feel sorry for them.
