Drawing a lion in easy way for kids is really fun. Here's a simple step-by-step guide to lion drawing sketch:

Materials you need: Paper, 2B Pencil, Eraser

Start by drawing 3 circles in the middle of your paper as I have shown.

Step 1: Draw Lion's Head as shown.

Step 2: Add the Lion's Mane
Around the circle, draw a rough, uneven shape that looks like a wild, shaggy mane. Lions have a distinctive mane around their heads.

Step 3: Draw the Lion's Face
Inside the circle, draw a lion's face and eyes. Just below the eyes, draw a small triangle for the lion's nose. Add a curved line below the nose for the mouth.

Step 4: Draw the Lion's Ears
On the lion's head side, draw curved shapes that look like ears. They should be pointing slightly outward and upward.

Step 5: Draw the Lion's Body
From the bottom of the head, draw a long, slightly curved line that extends to the right. This will be the lion's back. Then, draw another line that curves downward to form the lion's belly.

Step 6: Draw the Lion's Legs
Draw four short, stout lines extending from the bottom of the lion's body. At the end of each leg, draw a rounded shape for the paw.

Step 7: Add the Lion's Tail
From the lion's back, draw a long, curved line extending outward. At the end of the line, draw a tuft of fur to represent the lion's tail.

Step 8: Add Details
You can add details to your lion's face and body, such as whisker dots near the nose, lines on the paws to represent toes, and some texture to the mane to make it look more realistic.

Step 9: Erase Unwanted Lines
Go over your drawing and erase any unwanted lines, like the initial circle you used as a guide for the lion's head.

Step 10: Give Shadow to Lion
If you like, you can give shadows to your lion using pencils.
