I have schizoaffective disorder. I was born this way. I knew there was something different about me even as a young child, but I was raised with God and I would never blame him for this. It has made me a better person and I’m very grateful even though I struggle constantly it keeps me closer to God.

I love how she starts to understand and asks more questions to clarify even more.

Sin is not a result of God, but a result of God's absence. He gives us a choice, and in doing so, steps back and limits his power. It is the consequence of both God's choice to let us be free and our choice to take that freedom and twist it into something evil.

My mum was schizophrenic and she spoke to and about God from the time she was a small child. She wasn't only mentally ill but awfully physically as well. She's no longer with us now, and I know that she's with Him now and no longer in pain 😢

I'm SO glad he mentions sickle cell because I have it and I've spent my whole wondering why I have it and the horrendous pain even though I'm a Christian. Despite that, though, if there's one thing I'm sure about is that my sickle cell is neither my fault nor God's fault

As someone who went through schizoaffective disorder...God is the last Being I would blame. I look to my own fallen nature and the curses in my lineage or Satan...God can wipe his hands clean of anything in this process, but instead, He gives me solutions, love, a home, a husband and family of my own. He is a good God and the only one worth serving! Amen! 🩸🩸🩸. He thought of each one of us on that cross and Holy Spirit is our helper! Our healer! God is go

Being mentally I’ll is no one’s fault.

That is the measure life, it is not a punishment.
Though I’m sure it feels that way.

We all have trials and tribulations we must contend with, some are indeed brought upon ourselves through sin. But most are by mere circumstance.

Regardless of the origin of our trials it is the Lord Jesus who is our guide, and only through him can we be made whole.

She was very respectful in the way she asked this and genuinely listened and asked good questions!

I really appreciate that she is digging and learning and she just didn't immediately dismiss his answers. Good on her, I hope she finds Jesus from her search.

I'm autistic, had severe anxiety for over two decades, then diagnosed bipolar and had six stays in physc ward and now stuck on antipsychotics. We all get a unique life from God.

Also, one cannot grow in ease and comfort. We are here to grow and develop.

Hey, brother, we as Christians are still understanding this; sometimes demons may be involved, other times it's really a chemical imbalance. You are still fearfully and wonderfully made, my friend. I've suffered from anxiety since a young age; it could be demon-related or just the way God created me. Don't feel ashamed if some Christians say we have demons; God can deliver us if that's the case. But perhaps He's saying, 'Son or daughter, I love you, you're mine and perfect,i'm here' This is for those who struggle as well. Love you all and have a great life; I know we can. God bless.

I have DPDR - Anxiety - OCD - PTSD and I confess Jesus Christ is my Lord and my God . God did not do this to me , sin did , and if I hate my circumstance , I should hate the cause and love the redeemer , I should hate sin and love God and so that is now what I have decided to do for the last 3+ years and I have no plan on turning back even when life gets tough .

I believe we are made to benefit Him and whatever His will is. From an extremely young age i went through abuse. For the longest time I acted out and sinned in different ways because I had absolutely no idea why I had a hole that needed to be filled or even where it was coming from. Then, out of the blue, I had a memory and realized that I was in pain. Took a while longer but eventually I accepted Jesus as my savior.
Now, I can spot someone who is being abused right away! (Or even someone who has been and is already healing.) I can help because I had the experience. A blessing. Our Father knows exactly what He's doing and we should thank Him for EVERYTHING.
GBY all.
