Nice to have a descale button on the machine. Mine doesn’t as it is one of the original models (2014). Straight vinegar with a 1/4 tsp of baking soda. Let that solution stay in the tubes for a few hours and run two gallons through the machine. Good as new and see ya in 3-6 months. ✌🏾

Just the info I needed. Set it into descale mode with the two buttons, Ran about 30 oz of a 50/50 solution of water and red vinegar (its what i had onhand) through the machine. Then refilled with fresh water and continued to run it until the K button went off. Then one more run and tasted the hot water to be sure the vinegar was gone. All good now. thanks 👍

It won’t damage it if I spray water in the inside of course I will in plug it but the inside electrical won’t be damaged?

Don’t spray onto the machine. Don’t want to get water into those small openings around the hinge. The only place there should be water is the tank & water lines. The housing itself should be wiped clean. Remove pieces to wash in sink. Descale for the rest.👍🤓

Here's a tip I learned while doing this tonight. That coffee pod actually has a bottom that pops off. Make sure you do pop it off so you can get all the built up coffee out of it. There was definitely a good amount in mine
