It wasn’t a head shot. It was a dirty shot. Once into his slide the defender isn’t supposed too hit the quarterback. Time n time again I’ve seen the rule doesn’t apply to certain guys!

Heyy AJ! If you are going to cry about getting the ball, how about a little blocking for your franchise qb. I have seen smaller guys like Devonta block way better. AJ didn’t look like he was running back to protect him either after the late hit.

Yea I called it when he was struggling to get up. Did a good job playing it off but the refs should have done better. Love the drive to stay in but sometimes they have to protect the players from them selves. #gobirds!
