I found some weirdness with the low pass filter on Sand, opened a ticket for it. After two weeks of emailing and testing I got such a convoluted response from them why it's bad I still don't understand it to this day. I love what they are doing for the most part but not everything shines as much as it should.

It utterly baffles me when developers insist on passing the blame on to anything other than their product and development almost as a "default mode". I work in applications support and see this often. Acustica is no exception and immediately go into a defensive/ deflection stance but if you have the "tools" to create these products in the first place and market them to PAYING customers why not heed such bug reports with the same feverish energy as you put into marketing them? I'd say not doing so is far more detracting than someone simply hurting your ego by bringing bugs to light and watching you skirt the bugs. You developed it so YOU fix it or give me my money back! Simple!

I don’t condone cracking of plugins - in fact I buy my plugins - so I like you can turn around to the makers of plugins and tell them off for bullshitting us! However this attitude highlights that they are almost as bad (not all developers but some). There is a really unhealthy culture in the world of plugins, so many plugins. If plug-in makers are worried of going going out of business - good! We can do without cowboy software developers.

Remember the days when people thought you were on Acustica's payroll? Now you're on their hitlist! 😁
