A couple of months ago when we were on our Nordic/Scandinavia trip, our second stop of our trip after the Blue Lagoon in Iceland was the IceHotel Resort in Sweden, found in the far north town of Jukkasjärvi, located in the Arctic Circle.

Besides the building being completely made of ice and snow (and yes it melts every spring and then is re-built every winter), there are a ton of cool rooms filled with amazing, intricate ice sculptures. Our room, the Mush-Room, might have been our favorite we saw overall, so we were lucky to get to spend the night there.

There was a lot to do at the resort (make sure to check out our full Swedish Ice Hotel video here:    • I Spent 24 Hours In A Swedish Ice Hotel   🧊☃️), but we decided to devote a short just to a tour of our frozen crib so you could see it in all of its cottage core glory 🐌🍄

Slugs dont have teeth! It’s their optical tentacles. Although it looks like teeth on the ice sculpture its still very cute

I went with my family last year, they also have cabin-like rooms for those who don’t want to sleep on ice.

If i wake up in an ice hellscape. The last thing I would want to see is a giant snail staring at me.

Thanks, i hate it. And by it i mean the very notion of sleeping next to a giant slug and a giant snail. Forget the ice part, that was the real challenge. I seriously (spoiler alert) applaud your bravery.
