I work for FedEx ground. I never meet customers outside their home without asking for identification or proof of residence. I've denied service to people for not cooperating. Do your job right and you'll always have a job ā¤

Iām a delivery driver at dhl, one time someone tried to pull this off with me, but I always ask for their information and check if it matches the one on the label, I asked this guy his name, he said itās on the package, I said thatās correct but I need to know your full name, he then said Iām not gonna tell you, I put the package back in my van and drove away without even saying anything to himš

As a fellow amazon delivery driver. I almost got done like this a couple times. But what youāre supposed to do. Is ask them for a name and address BEFORE showing them the information on the package or phone and before you say it. If they canāt verify the correct address and name of the package proceed to deliver it to destination. And if they watching me. Id skip the stop and depending on how many packages and stops i have. Id try contacting the customer themselves or just circle back after completing my load. It helps alot
