I would be willing to bet less than 25% of Doctors, who prescribe these (and other) pills to their patients NEVER bother to properly check their patient's vitamin, mineral, omega-3 fatty acid & hormone levels! FACT: the Dr that prescribed Prozac to my niece, never bothered to check her vitamin, mineral, omega-3 fatty acid & hormone levels. Fortunately, I was able to talk to my Niece about the major risk factors associated with these & other risky pharmaceuticals (which her Dr totally FAILED to do) and thankfully she immediately stopped taking the pills within 1 week.

This deeply saddens me. SSRIs change the brain. They are psychoactive. Just look at the serious side effects and the difficulty tapering off. Making them trendy is so dangerous.

Everyone especially younger generation use those disorders as a crutch through life and some arenāt even actually diagnosed or have problems they just say they do because like she said it is glamorized now and its also sad because now they just let these kids get these meds from just diagnosing anyone with some something and no they can get these anti depressants or whatever that they might not even need

When I was in college back in 2015, there was a student mental health group on campus demanding that we āstamp out the stigmaā of mental health issues. Iād love to ask one of these people if they now think it was worth it.

Took lexapro ramped up to 20 mg for 2 weeks. Was having a hard time with some things in my marriage. Hated the way it made me feel.
Anytime something happened that I KNEW I should be upset or frustrated about, it was like someone was screaming in the back of my mind, but on the outside I was apathetic to everything. May not be every oneās reaction to them, but definitely not for me. Took me over 2 months to get off them. When I tried cold turkey it would cause crazy headaches.

Depression is the shortage of activities of the mind. If you are not busy with life you will feel depressed. And the worst thing is if you used to have money for free, when you stop getting that you will start asking for money. Self Reliance is the way to freedom.
