Not this but I remembered people would do this back in the day when I slung my xshot longshot very close to my shoulder and tied down the trigger so I can slam fire it with one hand

Not dual wielding, but I tried this with a flipfury when running a shield. I couldn't get the sling length right and had a few misfires as a result.

You can do the other method with fire strikes and Splitstrikes as well
