I've made hundreds of boxes with this joinery over the years. I was using a router table and homemade wooden jigs. Seeing this has made me rethink the last 15 years of my life. 😢

He stacked the boards over the router bits used to make the cuts to get the exact offset = the bit being used! Brilliant!

Holy finger-joints, Batman! I am amazed by the spacial awareness it takes to refine a process down to this level of simplicity. Bravo.

I'm trying not to exaggerate but I've probably watched at least 50 videos on box joint jigs, excluding shorts. Most require dados which in some countries can be difficult to acquire. Some are insanley complex with gears or locking mechanisms. While this requires a jig too, the simplicity of the process is so refined and so intuitive that in this short you get everything. Bravo.

The 2nd best part was no silly music in the background! This should be a tutorial for all other folks making shorts! Clear, Concise & Simple

Всë гениальное просто. На столько просто, что когда узнаëшь, чувствуешь себя законченым идиотом на полном серьёзе не осознавая как мог сам не додуматься до этого раньше.

Damn man, in a 1 min video you’ve given the world the easiest way of making the finger joint like this. All them long videos about making jigs etc feel a bit useless now 😅

All videos should be like this short and sweet. I love the fact that the design has very little waste. Very impressive work.
