There is one more registrations all businesses in India must apply for... it’s called the ZED Certificate...

A ZED certificate is issued by the Govt of India to certify the quality of your goods as being:

👉🏼 Free from any Defects; and
👉🏼 No adverse impact on the Environment

👉🏼 Getting it helps you get a discount on the interest rate and processing fees of bank credit facilities and loans

👉🏼 Help avail subsidies on the cost to present your products in international expos, as the purpose of the scheme is to help validate the quality of Indian products for global buyers

👉🏼 In fact, all companies with the ZED Certification are also listed on the Govt’s portal for verification by proposed buyers to check whether the quality of this organization is verified and certified by a Govt Authority...

It can be applied for on zed.msme.gov.in

👉🏼 If you need to engage any technical professionals to help you get to Zero Defects for the certificate, the govt offers a subsidy of up to Rs 2 Lakh for you to get this assistance as well.

👉🏼 In addition, if you need to install a machine for Zero Effects, a subsidy of Rs 3 Lakhs would be given for such tech upgradation.

👉🏼 Even the amount you may pay to get a BIS or ISI or ISO certification in the process is available under a subsidy of up to Rs 50k

👉🏼 There are 3 kinds of certificates, each of which have a cost which is subsidized by the Govt for the category of MSME...

Such that the fixed costs are as follows...
Bronze - Rs 10k
Silver - Rs 40k
Gold - Rs 90k

But from these costs, Micro Enterprises get a subsidy of 80%, Medium get 60% and Small get 50% Subsidy.
