tbh sulani is so pretty and it’s not a laggy mess like isla paradiso (sunlit rides is a better island world imo) but sims 3 island gameplay is on another level!

Sims 3 Island Paradise is a core memory for me. My grandma bought it for me after passing my 8th grade exam and getting into my first choice of high school and I remember playing that game all summer before 9th grade. Makes me very nostalgic and teary.

No competition, Island paradise let you swim under water and let you see what was happening!! The mermaid gameplay was phenomenal compared to what Island living offers.

Ah, this brings back memories of when the only Sims 3 expansion packs I had were Ambitions, Seasons, and Island Paradise, and I would run all three at the same time and play in Isla Paradiso - the good old days of lifeguards running through knee-deep snow to save random drowning people! It would freeze every Sims day at 8:00pm and I would reset the whole town and go on my merry way! Never even thought of complaining, lol! Also, the underseas diving adventures were definitely better in Sims 3!

Sims 3 hands down. I also still play the Sims 2 Castaway games! The PS2 one is my favorite for sure, I love exploring those islands.

ngl i never have many issues in isla paridiso as many people do. to me, there’s much more to do and we got things like house boats! i’ll always love the sims 4 but sims 3 did it SOO much better.

I remember being obsessed with Island Paradise solely because I was in love with the idea of my sims being mermaids. Like I NEEDED mermaids sims. I loved playing Island Paradise and the house boats and of course the mermaids. I haven't even considered getting the Sims 4 one because it just doesn't look as fun.
